Facilities and Equipment

Buildings – Equipment – Labs – Offices

A range of equipment, laboratories, and office space are potentially available for use at the PRF. Below is a sample list:

Facilities 

• 279 m² office building with a 65 m² dry lab for sample preparation and computer workstations
• 558 m² heated workshop with mechanical and carpentry equipment for building or repairing field equipment or plot markers
• a pesticide storage building
• a vault building holding data records back to the 1900's
• an additional 837 m² of unheated storage and workshop space

Equipment

• drying ovens
• field instruments
• forestry measuring instruments
• grinding mills
• pickets and field markers
• sample containers
• scales
